Blue Pacific Yachting has always put an emphasis on fun, and on catamarans. These multi-course sailing weeks are a fantastic way to get up to speed quickly, in a spectacular setting, while having the time of your life.
Complete Sailing Courses
Maybe you’re new to sailing. Maybe you’ve been sailing for a long time, but as more of a passenger, and you’re ready to be a full participant. Maybe you’re plenty salty, but lack the credentials to go on that bareboat charter you’ve finally got coming up.
BPY’s complete courses are an excellent fit for all of these cases. You’ll cover a lot of ground, get a lot of time at the helm, learn boat systems, navigation, crew management and more. All while having a blast on the water.
Intermediate Courses
If you’ve already knocked out ASA 101 – Basic Keelboat, and are ready to take on sailing education in bigger bites, our intermediate courses are for you. Typically preceded by ASA 101 for those that need it, intermediate students come aboard a modern sailing catamaran for ASA 103, 104 and 114. You’ll sail offshore, stand watches, maneuver and anchor the vessel, check the weather and more.
And you’ll be having so much fun you don’t even realize how much you’re learning.
Complete Sailing Course: San Diego to Catalina, or Sea of Cortez?
You have the option of meeting your captain/instructor and your ship mates at our main base in San Diego, or our base in the Sea of Cortez: Loreto/Puerto Escondido.
Intermediate Sailing Courses
Again, choose from San Diego or one of our Sea of Cortez bases. These classes are for sailors already holding their ASA 101 - Basic Keelboat certification.
